Kotma

KOTMA (KADMA): This large civilian internment camp was located in the Vilayet of Aleppo, twenty-eight miles north of Aleppo and thirty-five miles south-southeast of Islahiya in northern Syria. It was situated near the Hamook River, on the Islahiyeh to Aleppo Railroad line. In 1915, the Turks incarcerated 150,000 Armenians in Kotma.
